В таком случае зададим вопрос: почему они хотели так, а не иначе? Пирамиды есть религиозные сооружения и служили средством возрождения фараона. Литургика церемонии этого культа возрождения фараонов описана в Текстах пирамид. В них рассказано о загробной судьбе фараона с Осирисом-Орионом в небе.

Пирамиды привязаны к звездам: их основания выставлены вдоль меридиана (север — юг) по звездам Великая пирамида имеет четыре шахты, расположенные меридианально и направленные на звезды, связанные с культом возрождения. Одна из них направлена прямо на Пояс Ориона, на звезду Аль Нитак, нижнюю звезду Пояса Ориона. Сопоставляя эту звезду с Великой пирамидой, мы видим очевидное: то же самое взаиморасположение трех пирамид Гизе, как и у трех звезд Пояса Ориона, а также соответствие положения пирамид относительно священного Нила расположению звезд относительно «небесного» Нила. Следовательно, случайное совпадение в размещении пирамид Гизе можно с уверенностью исключить.
